No. 2 | When I am criticized |
Response | In principle, I am always curious about what leads to criticism. I listen and consider to what extent I have actually contributed by my actions or behaviour, either consciously or unconsciously, to the criticized situation. I try to stay away from emotions and find out as much as possible. I also think about who the criticism really belongs to and I enjoy looking at the situation from a psychodynamic point of view. I am ready to admit my mistake or take time to think in complex situations. I am also prepared to reject criticism or direct it to those to whom it belongs. I try a calm dialogue that allows to think and research things. When emotions appear on either side, I try to calm them down or postpone communication. In fact, I like criticism. I'm ready to research. |
